What is Symbiosis Entrance Test?

Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is a national level common written test which is organized every year to offer admission into various UG and Integrated courses in the institutes of Symbiosis International University. SET exam is.conducted by Symbiosis International University (SIU).

Symbiosis International University (SIU) is a multi-institutional university located in Pune, Maharashtra. The University offers academic programs in both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. SIU has 31 Institutes / Departments located in Pune, Nashik, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Noida. Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research (SICSR) also offers BBA (IT) apart from their regular BBA degree for those students who aspire to build their career in IT industry

Students who want to get admission in undergraduate programs in Symbiosis institutes must know that SET exam is only the first step because each symbiosis institute has its own independent selection process. Those Students who cleared SET exam will short listed for personal interview (PI) and written aptitude test (WAT) on the basis of their performance in SET. Symbiosis BBA Eligibility

Students who wish to pursue BBA program through the institutes of Symbiosis University must bepassed XII or its equivalent in any discipline from any recognized Board with minimum 50% marks for open category.

• Minimum marks for students belonging to SC and ST category is 45%.
• Students who have appeared for their Standard XII final exams and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply for SET BBA test.
• Applicants who have obtained 10+2 through Open Universities system directly without having any basic qualification are not eligible for the Course.
• There is no upper age limit for SET (General).

After declaration of the SET result, the institute to which you have applied will conduct further selection processes (PI-WAT) for short-listed candidates. The schedule for the same will be published on the Websites of the institutes

Symbiosis BBA Application Process & Fee

• Students have to pay Rs.1750 as application fee.
• Students have to register online from last week of January 2020 to second week of April 2020 with details like email ID, name, mobile no. etc.
• Any correction in the form will only be entertained only up to closing date of registration i.e. April 2020. No changes shall be permitted after closing date under any circumstance.
• Mode of fee Payment: The application fee payment can be done through online mode – debit card, credit card or net banking.
• Also students can choose the mode of the payment as DD drawn in favor of ‘Symbiosis Test Secretariat’ payable at Pune.

Colleges Accepting Symbiosis BBA scores

Seat Reservation Policy:

15 % of the seats are reserved for SC candidates, 7.5% for ST candidates and 3% for PWD candidates. Over and above the sanctioned in take 2 seats are reserved for Kashmiri Immigrants.
