Most of the bank jobs are offered at graduation level, it is considered as one of most secured & respected jobs in societies for graduates candidates.

Many of the students like 9 to 5 jobs & good financial stability in their life. There may be a lot of other options but one of them is bank jobs. First, it it important to know the posts for which; the bank exams are conducted. Some of the popular posts for which bank exams are conducted are PO (Probationary Officer), Clerk & SO (Specialist Officer), These popular bank exams are conducted every year by sbi & ibps. Now so before starting to apply these exams, you need to know few important criteria you have to fulfill, otherwise you won’t be able to fill the application form. SBI conducts it po, clerk & specialist officer exams in first half of the year while IBPS conducts its exams in second half of the year. While these organizations release its exam notification, they clearly mentioned all the eligibility criteria & other details. Here, we are mentioning some of them for you.

Age: For most of the bank jobs, the age should be around 20-30 years. For clerical posts it should be 20-28 & for specialist officer posts it may vary. You must note that there is also provision of reservation for the reserved categories.

Education: For po & clerk, you must be graduation  in any discipline. For specialist officer you must hold a special degree or certificates like for IT, you must have degree in IT or for law, you must have degree in law.

No. of vacancy: You must check total no. of vacancies mentioned in notification. These vacancies are having state wise bifurcation, so you must check all these details.

Stage of examinations: There are two or three stages you have to pass to secure a bank job including interview process. Generally it’s called Pre & Main Exams. The questions form Maths, English, Reasoning, GK, Current Affairs, Banking/Marketing & Computer are asked. You must note a point that to clear banking exams, one has to be very good in calculation, English & analytics.
