What is IBPS PO?

Back in 2011, IBPS started the Common Written Examination (CWE) for recruiting officers and clerks in all Public Sector Banks. Earlier this exam was known as IBPS PO exam but now the name has been changed to IBPS CWE.

IBPS PO Qualification

• A candidate must possess a minimum qualification of Graduation from a recognized University/Institute in any discipline
• A candidate must possess valid marksheet/degree certificates that state that he/she is a graduate on the day he/she registers for the exam. It should also indicate the percentage of Marks obtained in Graduation while registering online

IBPS PO Age Criteria

• Minimum Age Requirement: 20 years
• Maximum Age Requirement: 30 years

The Mains Examination of IBPS PO exam comprises of 4 + 1(Descriptive Paper) sections: Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, English Language, Quantitative, Aptitude & General Awareness. Recently, IBPS has introduced a descriptive paper in its mains exam for selection of candidates to the post of Probationary officer.

The IBPS PO syllabus is almost same for Preliminary phase and Mains Exam. A candidate are required to be well versed in Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, Computer Awareness and General Awareness to scale high in this exam.

Steps to Download IBPS PO Mains Admit Card:

Step 2 – A new page will appear on the screen of your device.
Step 3 – Here you will have to enter your “Registration ID” and “Date of Birth/Password”.
Step 4 – Enter the Captcha.
Step 5 – Click the Login button.
Step 6 – The call letter will appear on the screen

IBPS PO Application Fee

A candidate need to pay Rs. 850/- (General and OBC) as their application fee for IBPS PO exam. The same amount is narrowed down to Rs. 175/- for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category.
