CDS Course

Combined Defence Services, in short is called CDS, which offers a great employment opportunity for graduate to serve in Indian Tri-Defence Services – Army, Navy & Air Force. This cds exam is conducted by UPSC twice a year in the month of February or April & September or November. The candidates have to clear several stages of selection process which includes written exam, followed by ssb interview & medical fitness test. The two types of commissions offered through cds are permanent commission (IMA, INA & AFA) & short service commission (OTA). Along with the boys, girls candidates can apply only for short service commission i.e. ota.

CDS weekend batch: Those students who are having colleges from Monday to Friday, for them we have cds weekend batch, in which we provide classes on each Saturday & Sunday.

CDS Eligibility

Age: For unmarried male candidates who want to apply for Indian Military Academy (IMA) age limit is between 19 to 24 years, for Indian Air Force Academy (AFA) age limit is between 20 to 24 years and for Indian Naval Academy (INA) age limit should be between 19 to 24 years. While for Officer’s Training Academy the age limit for male & female is 19 to 25 years.
Qualification: IMA and OTA requires candidates who are graduates in any discipline from a recognized university whereas Air Force Academy require candidates with a degree in bachelor of engineering or graduation in any discipline & the candidates have studied physics and mathematics at intermediate level. For Indian Naval Academy (INA) candidate should have a degree in bachelor of engineering.
