CDS I April 2025 Notification

UPSC has released the notification for the CDS 1 April 2025 Written Exam. Online applications are being invited by such candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria of this cds 1 april 2025 exam. Online registration can be done on upsc website from 11th Dec 2024 till 31st Dec 2024. After the completion of the online registration, admit card will be issued online & examinations will be conducted offline on 13th April 2025.

Candidates can apply for Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Officer's Training Academy, whichever they want as per their educational qualification and age criteria. Selected candidates are then called for an interview by Service Selection Board (SSB). Again successful candidates will be called then for medical.

Commencement of course

• For CDS I - For successful candidates, the courses at IMA, INA, AFA & OTA will start in the January & April month of following year respectively.
• For CDS II - The courses at IMA, INA, AFA & OTA Exam will be started in the month of July for IMA, INA & AFA wing and October for OTA wing (in following year) respectively.

CDS Exam Centre

Every year, UPSC conducts CDS exam across country at different exam centres. Candidates are advised to check the exam centres before applying. Candidates have to enter their choice of exam centres while. Candidates can select up to three exam centres while filling the application form. Below, centres list are mentioned.

Important Instructions

• Exam centre once allotted cannot be changed under any circumstances.
• The admit card bears the name, address and code of exam centres.
• The candidates are advised to bring their admit card, an id proof, and all other necessities.
• Candidates have to report early to CDS exam centres prior to the commencement of examination.

CDS Online Application Process

1. Visit the official website of UPSC online application i.e. upsconline.gov.in .
2. You will land on to the homepage and then click One Time Registration (OTR) For Examinations Of Upsc And Online Application.
3. For One Time Registration (OTR) For Examinations Of Upsc And Online Application, follow the below steps.
   1. Candidates have to register himself/herself on OTR (One Time Registration) portal by clicking New Registration button.
   2. After registration, he/she has to login (by Email ID/ Mobile Number / OTE ID) to verify the already registered OTR application.
   3. Go to the latest Notification tab in the OTR application.
   4. Apply for desirable examination.
4. Now candidates will be required to complete the Online Application form containing two stages viz. Part I and Part II.
5. When you click Part-1 Registration the detailed instruction set will be displayed.
6. Read all the stated instructions carefully into it.
7. After reading all the instructions, Click Yes Button & then start filing the application form.
8. Fill in all the credentials mentioned in the form correctly & remember the registration id.
9. Now go for the Part-2 Registration. Here you have to do Fee Payment, Select Examination Center, upload Photograph & Signature.
10. Now login into Part-2 Registration, enter your Registration-Id, Date of Birth & random generated Captcha. 
11. Now Upload your scanned photograph and signature, in the required column.
12. If you're filled information is correct, then click on the submit button.
13. Make the Application Fee Payment for the CDS I 2025 Application Form.
14. Now, they will take you to the page where your full application will be displayed.
15. Take a printout of that application form for future reference.

Documents require to apply cds online application

• Class 10 Mark sheet and Certificate
• Class 12 Mark sheet
• Mark sheets for all the semesters of Graduation Degree
• For individuals studying in the final year of their degree course, Mark sheets of all the semesters upto the final semester.
• One photo id i.e. aadhar card or voter card or pan card or passport or driving license or any other photo id card issued by the state/central government.
• Valid and active e-mail id & mobile number
• Scanned image of photograph and signature.

Conditions of the photograph – Candidates must assure that they are taking care of the conditions of the photograph which are mentioned below.

1. The photograph, uploaded by candidate should not be more than 10 days old from the start of the online application process (i.e. the application commencement date).
2. Ensure that the name of candidate and the date on which the photograph was taken are clearly mentioned on the photograph.
3. The candidate's face should occupy 3/4th of the space in the photograph.
4. The candidates must ensure that their appearance must match with their photograph at the time of Written Examination. For instance, if a candidate uploads a bearded photograph, he must appear with the same look in the Written Examination. Same would be the case with spectacles, moustaches, etc.

CDS Application Fee

For a successful registration in cds i april 2025 exam, you have to make sure that you have paid the cds application fees in part-ii of the registration process. Although all of the candidates need not to pay the cds application fees; only candidates who are from general category & obc category are required to pay cds application fees. Girls candidates from all categories & SC/ST candidates are exempted to pay cds application fees. Find below cds application fees category wise.

• General and OBC candidates – Rs. 200
• Female/SC/ST Candidates – Need not pay any fee amount.
• The application fee for CDS can be paid online and offline. The offline mode to pay the fee is via Pay by Cash, whereas, the online mode include Net Banking, Debit Card, and Credit Card.

How to Download CDS Admit Card

Those candidates who are appearing in cds i april 2025 examination will require a admit card i.e. hall ticket which assure your candidature to appear in cds i april 2025 examination. UPSC will release the admit card 3 weeks prior to the written examination of cds. Kindly remember that upsc don't send any hard copy of cds admit card. • Click on the "E-Admit Cards for various Examinations of UPSC"
• Click on the “Download” link of "e-Admit Card Link" Column for “Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2025”
• Then Read the important instructions & then click yes.
• Enter the credentials like Registration Number, Date of Birth and Password
• Click on the submit button to login
• UPSC CDS Admit Card 2025 will be displayed on the screen
• Do not forget to take out a hard copy of the call letter
